I used to have one and they are good because they will toast, bake, warm things up etc; In fact you can cook a whole meal in them, even things like baked beans and peas if you put them in a tin foil dish.
With regards to electrical appliances, most will have their wattage stamped on them somewhere. To find out what amps they will draw you divide the watts by the voltage (230v in UK). Therefore, a 1300 watt oven will draw 1300/230 = 5.65 amps.
However, if you are as useless at maths as I am you may like to look at the bottom of this page where you will find a Watts to amps conversion chart which you can print off and take with you.
Make sure when using electrical appliances together or on their own, the total amps do not exceed the total amps supplied by the campsite.
We have a logik,or logic one from curry's,cheaper than the go outdoors one, which only has a top element.1200 watts, fine for most hook ups. An obvious tip, which I had never thought about until someone here suggested it,oven gloves!

Yep we got the Lidl 14lt Mini-Oven last Month, definitely a good buy at just £27 Top and Bottom selectable elements, totalling 1200watt so quite EHU friendly as well.
And fits into a "Really Useful Box" 42lt size perfectly, ideal for transporting the oven in, the Box is £14 from B&Q or £13.08 from Makro inc vat.
