going bank holiday weekend to Wayside a campsite in Aston on Clun Shropshire, got new cadac safari chef,
new 10mm sim's and having bought a vango airbeam evoque 600 at the end of last season we have invested in a Fiat Doblo van so we can get every thing in , and now have space to spare (another shopping trip coming on ? )So roll on bank holiday weekend what ever the weather.
been a weekend Feb and March, roll on 2 weekends in April. The great advantage of all year camping is that you appreciate the seasons, i.e. March was frost on tent. Last year Easter went down to -3 and we didn't have EHU this year EHU, electric blankets, heaters etc etc.
When we were kids we used to boil an egg, decorate, then on Easter Sun climb a hill and roll them down to see whose got the furthest. Do you have some kind of Easter egg roll at the tent or is it just rolled down the throat?
I am just wondering where I am going to hide the Easter eggs in the car so the boys dont see them before Easter Sunday! My boys are 14 and 16 but still love their Easter eggs.
The camping chairs are now in the kitchen, new sleeping bags in the hall, and fishing tackle has started creeping into the house. 2 weeks to go!
My wife and I are going to Cornwall for the first time this Easter can't wait. It's a fair drive from scotland but everyone we have spoken to that's been says it's great. So here's hoping
Getting a bit excited too. We are off to our favourite local site up near Minehead and have already agreed that if the weather's awful we will be driving home each night to get a good night's (warm, dry) sleep. Total wimps! The cats would be pleased though.
Already done a weekend 3 weeks ago booked in for Waren caravan and camping park up Bamburgh for easter weekend. Can't wait hope the weather is good, gonna take metal detector with me for the beaches !

Hope you don't mind, but to avoid going off topic, I've started another thread on the above
Can't wait! Due to work commitments OH is unable to take any holiday until end of July. However I have managed to squeeze a 3 night stay at a campsite only 15mins from us! Mad I know but with 3 mums and 6 kids it will be fun and we are in one of the best places (Lake District). I am looking forward to showing how much fun you can have camping with my non-camping buddies. They will love it x
