Bless you Bob61! If your common sense is anything to go by, you must be loaded! I've read your comments on loads of threads and you give some pretty good, practical advice!

I would prefer stuff to tie in colour wise and look pretty. But budget tends to have a bigger influence on what I buy / borrow from home!! I would rather have something useful and enjoy camping than do without if it doesn't match. But hey each to there own.
I don't really go for matching stuff I find that a bit boring, I've got the orange hago kichen stand but purple coolbox and a red cooker, I think it's more interesting to have a bit of variety, I'm more in to retro looking things though.
We've got a green vango tent, vango event tent in green and a green vango sleeping bag. Most of our kit is green or blue as we've got a blue classic car and a blue VW van.
Think I have said it before but.....Mishmash is how I would describe my set up....If I like the look of it...And it does what it's supposed to in it goes...
Not too fussed what it looks like as long as it does what it's meant too....ie keep me warm/dry/fed and comfy while away....

Our tent matches our sun canopy, but that's about it. Hubby, daughter and I all have different colour sleeping bags, and none of them match the 2014 Vango Iguana (or whatever it was called).
I guess our cutlery does match our Outwell collapsable lime green kettle, which matches one of the mugs in the set... Really just because we like quite loud/bright stuff.
Don't do table clothes - only just bought our table, and that's only so I've got somewhere to cook and to put my wine glass on because the glass doesn't sit well in the chair 'net' and I knocked it all over myself
Can't remember what our chairs look like, bought them at the end of last season (to kind of replace one covered in red wine.... but not the only reason)but think they may be black and red
our main tents are sage green and mocha, so we went for a colour scheme that matches both...black and silver grey...the colour of the Outwell stripes...keeping to neutral colours like this it's very easy to find things that match...
for us tho it will always be a case of quality comes first, so ultimately we will go for the best item regardless of its hue...of course if the best comes in either black or silver grey then that's the option we'll go for...
this year we needed to replace our old green stove...we could have opted for a nice black one as there are plenty out there to choose from, but instead we went for blue as that was the better stove...

Oh my......don't think anything matches in any of my set ups......would drive some of you mad but as long as it does the job I don't bother what colour it is
