We also use microfibre type towels but found that there are so many different types/quality.
The first type we bought were like sandpaper but were not expensive. So invested in two Lifeventure Expedition Trek towels 120cmx60cm Soft fiber and what a difference.

Agree with Vango about the life venture ones. I take mine in the campervan even when i have room for a proper towel. Mine is bath towel size and drys me quite sufficiently. It also dries easily itself, nothing worse than a soggy towel.
Decathlon also sell a pretty good copy in lots of pretty colours.
We use the fluffy microfibre towels. I think ours came from Mountain Warehouse and Aldi. We've got some that feel more like the cloths you use to polish a car with, but my son prefers it to our fluffy ones. non fluffy towels
When it comes washing we use the shower lily Even coverted the husband over to them!
With a shower lily don't forget to put a 'sucker ' on the loop, the kind that sticks to windows or rather bathroom tiles and shower areas. It will never need to touch the floor again.
Flannels and microfibre towels for us too. Often seen drying from our guy ropes.
Like the idea of the micro towel bathrobe. I always go to showers in my dressing gown, shower, dry and then put back of dressing gown and get dressed in tent. Don't like taking clothes to showers - as hard to dress when you're damp, takes too long and may drop clothes in shower! But the micro bathrobe would solve lots of problems!!!
I have one of the Lakeland body squeeges which is a brilliant piece of kit. By the time I've used it I'm almost dry. Very little dampness on the towel.

That is what I do, hence getting a robe. Got mine from Decathlon. Bought one for DS the other day. He loves it so much he's been using it at home too.
