I used these suitcase stoves quite happily for weekend fishing trips....My only gripe being cost of the canisters and length of usage while cooking...
Until the guy in the next tent/bivvy along had one blow up on him one morning!!!!...Cooking away on a similar model in the small open porch area when I heard the bang and looked up to see him kicking his stove and breakfast into the lake in front of him!!!!....
No idea if overhanging pot/pan was the reason on this occasion....But have heard similar stories in the fishing world regarding these stoves...
Still have mine somewhere among my camping gear.....But personally am wary of using it ever again....Purely because of this one instance I witnessed....
