SalomeDaly - another trip down camping memory lane: we had an orange and black tin table so similar to yours and at which I used to sit for meals because there wasn't room at the main dining table - either at home and whilst at camp! I loved it. Ah, such happy memories.
All these old things have so much character, history and soul which new items lack. I have been inspired
Loving all the retro stuff, big fans of it here.. we've been wanting to Pimp the tent so it looks like something from and episode of Shaft... So busy scouring the second hand shops in seach of kit to use
I'm looking forward to the pics TRC... although I am now suffering the earworm of 'Shaft' theme tune... could be 'there was an old man called Michael Finnegan'
We still have our 70's camping stuff, hago camp kitchen, folding table, camp stove, primus stove and camp chairs. Just found recently that the rubberized Lilo,s had perished but every thing else is still mint even if they tend to be painted in bright primary colours and quite heavy. Can't bring my self to get rid even though we don't use them anymore. We had such good times camping with them and they are still in good working condition.
I love all these vintage finds 0 I'm a massive fan of vintage - but I'd be too terrified of my rowdy lot breaking it... maybe when its just me and the hubster...
