I was at a C&CC site I've been to for years a few weeks ago , I ended up on a slope overlooking motorhomes and caravans where it was once a tent and motorhome site with no electrics .

Sites make more money from other units , it's sad but I feel we're being forced out . There are a few proper camp sites around , but I think they are getting harder to find .

I agree we also feel tents are being squeezed out 😔

Beadnell bay campsite used to be like that Fiona, so peaceful. Sadly not now. They put in even more hardstanding over the winter. There will be no grass pitches left at this rate.
