We are camping this weekend with our 18 month old. This time last year we just bundled him up in hundreds of layers and snuggled him close. But this year as a very wriggle toddler wholl definitely be in his own travel cot rather than in with us, I don't know what to dress him in for bed! I think it's going to get down to 9, so im thinking fleecy onesie and 2.5tog grobag. Does that sound about right?
Can only tell you what we put our toddler in to sleep (1yr last summer) - He had on fleecy onesies and sometimes a vest and also a vango nitestar mini sleeping bag - hes going in the same this yr (is 2) but hes too big for the nitestar so weve got him a 3 season sleeping bag :)

Don't use a onesie with feet cause in the morning they will want to wander around the field in the wet grass, we use fleecy pj's with warm socks and a vest underneath.
