Went to go outdoors today and decided to have a look in the outwells - the groundsheets are shocking! feel so thin and flimsy! thought they were 10,000 hh? feel like the slightest stone and theyd rip.

Oh and checked out this: http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/hi-gear-airgo-nimbus-8-inflatable-tent-p286275

and it seems so so small - tiny and claustrophobic - Im 5ft 1in and I had to duck quite a bit to get into the door :/ not what I was expecting at all.

Yep, well definitely be staying with out tent - I would cry if anything ever happened to it (nearly killed the hubby last camping trip when he accidentally burnt a hole in the sig in the main living area - and I mean he is lucky to be alive!)

I've just bought an awning and looked at all the main brands as I'm not tainted in anyway towards a single manufacturer - it's the product itself I judge ...

Anyways, this time I went with Vango ( my 2nd Vango tent! ) - it was so much better an awning than anything Outwell currently offers.
A 420D fabric, 6000mm hh, zip up curtain to main door, a lovely included canopy, valves at waist height, storm straps as well as guy lines and a super flexible layout.
Outwell had nothing that came close, although this of course could change in a future product range.

I still however enjoy my Outwell Concorde tent when I want more space.

Outwell have some nice tents and innovative accessories.

However I don't like the Outwell armies, that are convinced nothing is as good as an outwell, and see it as some sort of status symbol

I had a bearlake 6 five years ago and sold it on to buy a different tent.
