You can't just "tell them you have seen it cheaper"! You have to show them a link, or at least an advert, so they can check that a/ You're telling the truth, and b/ it's actually valid at that time. Then they'll match and knock a further 10% off.

...But there is more to this negative bargain as it is now available in a bundle for only £600 which includes a canopy.
No major surprise as the tent already has one.
Yes, the tent already has the built in canopy, but what is offered within the bundle, along with footprint and carpet, is a canopy extension, to effectively double the depth of what is already built in...

Can I vote for Go Outdoors, bought shed loads off them with no concerns. Have had to return a couple of brand named items with no issues, quickly replaced or refunded.
Their pricing is such that unless you need it that day keep an eye on them, they often have 20% off over certain weekends, do the research and you'll know if their price is fair.
As for "tis cheaper on 'net" this can have it's own issues, me I prefer to walk into a store with the item if there's a problem rather than run the risk of having to send something back at my own cost if there's a problem but each to their own.

I am starting to appreciate Go outdoors....mainly due to lack of choice/viewing availability locally....and Yes-I do live near Halfords and Argos but do not recognize them as purveyors of fine camping equipment and goodies!
I have visited the Manchester store many times and sadly never bought camping gear from them. It seems to be a excellent place for newbie campers but real specialized gear and good quality stuff we go to Springfield camping in Halifax. We got a great deal with them as they offered price match and received friendly service from a non chain dealer.
I had a similar experience recently when I was thinking of getting their Hi Gear Voyager Elite 6.
Wasted hour round trip.
Was annoyed because I phoned the day before and even confirmed the price and stock availability as they were out of stock earlier in the week awaiting delivery. No mention of it changing the following day.
