How do you keep drinks cool that can't be fitted in your cool box?
We have a good cool box but it doesn't fit all the food and drink for 4 days. I don't want to put warm drinks in it and spoil the food, so wondered how you all manage.
I thought about a bowl of cold water or even freezing some of the fizzy drinks but thought that might cause them to lose their fizz.
We are camping in a field to see an airshow so have no electric.
I don't fancy warm gin & tonic 😌
we do pretty much the same as above...after buying the drinks they're kept in unchilled coolbags until the day we wish to drink them, then they're moved into a big trug of cold water with a wet tea towel over the top of them...on particularly hot days you may have to change out the water for fresh if it starts to warm up...

We bought a huge bag of ice from the supermarket and filled our trug bucket full of water, kept our drinks nice and cool when left in the shade. Obviously the ice doesn't last long but it did make the water extra cool
