Hi
Ive just returned from a week in Cornwall and used my Easy Camp Licata 400, this has been an excellent tent hence my continued use even though its now a few years old. On packing up i noticed one of the poles had split so rather than buy a single pole with the hassles of threading the elastic was wondering if it would be possible to buy a full replacement set which consists of eight poles, then i could use the old set as single replacements. So far ive come up with nothing, once a tent is discontinued is it not possible to find spare bits for that model? Also and this might be a silly question are spare poles you can buy universal so you can just replace the damaged one? Perhaps im lucky but this is the first one ive had go on me so am not really up on replacing, thanks for any info.

You can pick up spare pole sections easily and relatively cheaply from most decent camping shops.

What you need to know is the diameter of the existing pole and the length of the section to be replaced.

Some shops will replace the section for you for a small charge, but it's easy enough to do yourself using a wire coat hanger or similar to thread the elastic through.

I would think you would find it hard to source a full replacement set.

Thanks
As the elastic is ok is it possible to re-use i understand this makes it harder to re thread. Is it advisable to use new elastic? If so hows the best way to get the right length? Sorry for all the questions, ive never had to do this repair before.

Re-using the elastic is usually fine - just undo the knot at the end (or snip it off and re-tie it - 1cm won't make any difference!)
