Hi,
We have a Kampa Hayling 4 to sell, it has a snapped pole and a small rip on the awning window, (darn wind).
How much should I ask for it? And where do you sell tents??
Thank you
Agree with fixing the damage as this will help it sell and will add more to the sale price than what it costs to fix.
We have used eBay a few times to sell stuff, including tents, yes their fees are quite high bit I've found that people tend to get carried away bidding and usually pay over the odds for stuff anyway.

Another vote for repairing before selling - it might not make too much of a difference to the price, but it will make it slightly more attractive.
To be honest, second hand tent prices can be a bit hit and miss. You need the right buyer at the right time (or enough buyers to show an interest on ebay), which is basically just chance.
The rip I couldn't repair as its on the window, I could only really put tape on it couldn't i? So do you think just buy more poles and state that one set of poles aren't the originals? I'm not really fussed on getting a lot for it, just something would be nice
I wouldn't bother with saying anything about replacing the snapped pole, you only need to get the correct sized ones from the likes of go outdoors or any other camping dealer, and then rethread it in place, as for the window, you can get uv tape used for Perspex greenhouses and if very careful you could get the rip lined up right and hardly noticed, although I would say about repairing that bit, the time for doing all of that would be maybe 30 mins if that and under a tenner
