The boot is packed, the tent is in the car behind my seat, providing Bailey's bed for the journey, the trailer has been assembled and my living room is full of all the wonderful camping bits and bobs! DH and DS finish work tonight and hopefully by this time tomorrow we'll be at Fforest Fields all ready to set up with DD and her bf joining us the day after. Okay so the weather forecast is a bit hit and miss but I won't let that spoil my excitement!!
We were due to be down there for 9 nights but due to our team getting to the semi-final of the Challenge Cup we are coming home two days early. However, only two weeks after that we will be off again, this time to Clover Fields, a first for us.
Happy times

Like Eskymew we are off on Monday, a few bits in the car and a few bits sorted in the living room but only sunday evening will we loose the living room for camping gear.
Well the five and a half hour journey consisted of mainly rain and then when we arrived it carried on raining! Set up almost completely in the rain but do you know, it didn't really matter once we were sat in the tent nice and cosy listening to the rain on the roof.
Already seen quite a few people from previous visits, usually recognise them by their dogs!! Bailey been for his first dip today, plus we're right near one of the smaller ponds, so he's been for several paddles in there today to keep him cool, because today has been lovely!
Time to relax now ...

Thanks everyone, shocking day yesterday, rained all day. DD managed to get her tent up in between the showers having spent their first night in with us. Can't let the weather bother you though can you?!! Cooked a nice curry for tea and played cards accompanied by the statutory alcohol in the evening. Despite the rain, it's not been cold at all though.
Looking much brighter this morning, might even venture off the site
