Hi first post here bit of background. We used to have a little meteorite caravan quite a few years ago which we used to enjoy but didn't get to use much due to finding the time. had to pay for storage but also weren't that keen on hooking up, towing etc.
I like things to be quick and simple so if I find something a bit of a faff I tend to not use so having to go fetch the van, hook up, towing, taking van back, going to clean it, pay for storage put me off.
Been thinking of buying a van lately and turning it into a day/camper van but prices are just far too high for us to get anything decent.
So after a few days research into tents I've just plunged £420 on this High Peak Aeros 5 wanted something quick and easy to put up and this was one of the cheapest Air tents I could find with decent spec ( I Hope) but there isn't 1 review for it anywhere so I'm a bit nervous getting it.
Spec is 150D/120T polyester fly, 5000HH, floor polyethylene, blow up TPU tubes to 9psi, curtains on all windows, 2 mesh doors, size 5 man 480x350x205.
What you folks think? I can still hit the cancel button :)

Well this came yesterday evening and had a go at putting it up this morning. From my first impressions today all I can say is this tent is Awesome
Bear in mind this is my first ever mid range tent (ive had a couple of cheap pop up tents) and I haven't been up close to any good mid range tents, I find the quality of this tent to be very high.
The first thing I noticed was the weight of this thing, its pretty heavy. Comes in a nice big Oversized bag, after folding it out it revealed a 2 way pump with a pressure gauge and different end adapters, lots of pegs, couple of steel bars, spare guyrope and instructions.
After pegging the ground sheet I pumped the tpu tubes up, (middle first the front and rear) and up it popped. First impressions was its bigger than I imagined with loads of room inside ( there is only one vid of this on YouTube and that is the 3 man, this looks way bigger).
I pegged a few guyropes in and had a look around. The quality of the outer skin feels very high, really thick, I suppose this is the 150D polyester. It has a door at the front and side both with fly screens. 2 windows at the front with a side netted window which is I suppose acts as a vent as well. All have so say curtains.
There is a big vent at the back which can be adjusted with 2 vents at the bottom, either side with a couple more little vents just above the triangular windows. There is also an electric cable zip opening.
Inside has a spacious living area with 2 bedrooms. The bedrooms have a zipped devider so can be turned into 1 big bedroom. All rooms come with storage pockets.
I put it up this morning in the garden and left it as we went out for the day. Just wanted to check the tubes stayed up :) seems to be fine this evening with no air leakage. The tubes are rated to be pumped up to a max of 9psi. I only pumped them up to about 6psi which seemed to be adequate.
So to sum up I'm over the moon with this tent. It was a big gamble with no reviews on this tent (anywhere) when I purchased. The Quality seems to be top notch. Still to test it properly on a camping weekend to which I will report back to how it goes ( kind of wishing it rains to test it out properly )
So far Fully Recommend this tent :)
