We loved it! Had a mixed bag with the weather, pitched in beautiful sunshine and packed up in a brutal downpour, but we decided if we could Manage it then we could cope with anything! Our 17 month old twins loved it, though couldn't quite have the freedom they wanted between weather and tent set up. the tent we borrowed, a hi gear Zenobia 6, wasn't the best set up for us as a family, we didn't have a canopy so had to keep carting the wee stove in and out and not ideal with the rain. We managed to fit the four of us in a 3 man podthough! But think we're going to invest in a set up like the Kampala Croyde 6 or the like.

The site itself, Culzean Country Park was fab, small friendly and what I percieved to be generous pitches and a beautiful sea view too. Will leave a review shortly. All in all lessons were learnt, and a great trip had by all!

TodFarm congrats on your trip, its good you enjoyed it despite the weather

make sure you dry the tent 100% or it will get ruined with mildew

Our gardens not big enough enough to pitch it, but where the wash ropes cross corner to corner we've manager to quite literally peg it out and open it up fully. Rained last night but it's to be a gorgeous day to day! So should dry I'll keep tweaking it. Should u turn it inside out at some point too to make sure it's fully dry? Have the pods spread out in the kitchen the now but will take them

you shouldn't have to turn the tent inside out as long as you keep tweaking it...we dry our montana 6 over our washing line and on a sunny and/or breezy day the inside and outside dry nicely...if you have any rain water pooling in the SIG then i'd advise tipping it out, but apart from that the drying process should look after itself...just make sure all your guy lines are fully dry before packing away as sometimes they can take longer than the fly sheet to dry out...
