After years of having to travel 70 miles to see a decent tent display we are getting our very own GoOutdoors in Hull, it's been announced in the paper today and it will have a large outdoor tent display area. We usually go to Winfields if we need anything, but this will certainly be a bonus. Just think of the hours I can spend wandering round new tents...

Compared to a good camping shop they are rubbish but I still visit ours for a tent fix when I haven't been camping for ages. Only problem is that since I have seen a Karsten the tents do nothing for me

I drove past the sign on Clough rd last week on my way BACK from otley shop.. Grrrrr.... The wife kindly pointed out isn't that where we have just been!


That said, Winfields have been absolutely brilliant and helpful when we bought our new tent last month.

Absolutely! But nothing wrong with a bit of healthy competition Plus it'll save me having to get my passport out for West Hull!

Theres 2 GO OUTDOORS not too far away from us. One Stockton, and one few miles past Metro Centre, Gateshead. I love to look at tent displays, you just want to go camping! but, A1 Caravans, Gosforth, building an area for new tent display. We called in earlier in the season and they were telling us. A bit of competition is always good, and they will sell different make tents which will be nice to see. Get sick of same ones in GO.
