The argos one looks ideal for us! What's the pack size if you don't mind me asking as I can't find anywhere it tells you...?
Sorry - I was away camping :)
Here is the link to the product on the full website, rather than the mobile one (didn't think about that!). When packed down, the pack size is approx:
59 cm x 54 cm x 11 cm.
We used it this week as our kitchen storage, it can take 30kg weight apparently, and whilst the top isn't huge, it is big enough and a great height to use.

2015: Somerset, Highlands, New Forest (12 nights)
2016: France (in plan)
Re storing hats - I took a pack of 'S' hooks (butchers hooks) with me which were really useful for hanging up small lightweight things e.g. hats, light raincoats (and also useful for hanging the lanterns from the roof as the hooks on them never seem to fit through)
I use the Outwell Bermuda wardrobe as it's got, pockets, s hooks, and shelves. This fits our clothes, towels, toiletries and all those bits and bobs we have knocking around. Not the cheapest around but pretty compact and easy to put up.
As we have a frame tent we have no problem using s hooks from Ikea to hang the coats from but have also used these in the past
Our Coleman Mackenzie has a 2' wide hanging bar in the main living space....I have no idea what it's proper purpose is (anyone?), but it is just perfect to hang up one of these...
