Well even though we had hoped to do some camping this year we never managed to get away- since we moved to our cottage we love spending time in the garden and as we are in the country we have peace and quiet and nice views. So we actually did not want to go to a campsite on a weekend with the risk of unpleasant behaviour so we took the decision and sold tent, sleeping bags stove etc etc. which was sad but no point keeping if we are not using.
However we are having one more camp in November in the Okovango Delta in Botswanna in a roof tent on top of a Toyota Hilux and bush camping 😊. So really looking forward to that and cannot wait to look out of the tent at night and see what is around - taking night vision googles. Makes a whole new meaning to night trips to the loo block - some of them you don't as any animal can walk around and so not a good idea 😳
Will still be following you all on here as still enjoy reading about everyone's camping trips .
I will definatly post photos and neither of us can wait really.
For the record Mucker we could have pitched 4 of our Glendales although 2 of those on bit to much of a slope 😊, nice outside loo but one of the 5 dogs next door is a little to barky with any noise and can be just a little annoying, especially around 3am in the morning !!!
