Well the two older ones aren't camping with us any more, so it's just the four of us, the huge mpv has gone the old vw transporter went a while back, so at last after years of huge motors it's a small motor cheaper fuel and running costs all round anyway we posted a while back that it's going back to basics for us now the motor is small ( honda Jazz 1.4 si ) the boot is surprisingly big though and we have a big thule atlantic roofbox, so we should be ok.
The thing is the last six years or so we've had outwell lake tents, and wonder if we'll really fancy going back so polyester after the spoils of polycotton, just wondered if there's a small. Canvas/ poly tent out there, anyone know or have any pics of a trout lake packed up?
A second hand one of these is an idea?
Cheers. Gaz

I have my eye on a roben Vista 600 - light and small pack size for a polycotton. Cant justify it at the moment tho

They do look lovely tho perfect w/e tent - I need to stop looking as I have to pay for a new boiler this autumn

I said I wouldn't look at polyotton tents, due to the size/weight but I can't seem to stop myself. Gaz

Thanks for that, I'd love it but I really don't think we'd get it in the boot though? 😫
I think it's going to have to be the end of canvas tents with this change of car.
Regards. Gaz.

Please look at the robens polycotton - the Vista 600 has a ridiculously small packsize and the jazz has a reasonable boot for its size.

Thanks for that, they look great, small pack size and light for a polycotton too. We'll keep our eyes peeled for a used one.
Cheers. Gaz👍👍👍

We used to have a trout lake 4. And a Peugeot 106. It did fit in the boot along with the extension, footprint and carpet.
We managed France for 2 weeks with the 106 and roof box but there are only 2 of us.
Maybe leave the kids at home
