Well this miserable weather got me thinking about better weather and sunny summer evenings camping, so I booked a couple of campsites for later in the year, our old favourite gwithian farm, and a small site in st Agnes, we visited the beach there last year and loved it, so thought we would try a site close by. Anyone else got things booked?
Just need a new tent now after selling our last one!
All the best. Gaz

we booked our summer holiday in October, we were visiting the area and were only a few miles from the site I had my eye on so decided to check it out.
Friendly welcome even though we hadn't phoned ahead and allowed to have a wander round to check the facilities, saw the pitch we wanted (although all were similar we wanted to be south facing) so asked if we could book . It is a site that requires £50 deposit and remainder to be paid well in advance of our holiday which I am normally reluctant to do but as we have seen the site we were comfortable doing so.
Like you we still need to purchase a tent after selling our 4m bell tent last year, we still have the Palamos 6 for our main holiday but it's too much work putting up for just a few days so looking at getting the Alaska for shorter breaks .
Nothing actually booked yet but planning to do 15 rallies with the CC and the C&CC.
Have also bookmarked a few sites I would like to try this year plus I am planning to return to a couple of old favourites.
Can't wait for the weather to improve and to get out there again!
I just sent off an enquiry to Brigs Farm in Dorset, after reading a review on here last night. It looks like they have limited opening times, so waiting to hear back from them.
We booked before Xmas to Tregarton Park, St Austell in June for 2 weeks and about to book. CC site in Dorset for Easter..... Bring them on, will be first time out with our new to us caravan
