Yep plenty of devices around, just google "wi-fi Booster Caravan"

I am sure someone will comment on one they have and how well it works.

I use the data from my phone contract, and 'tether' to that.
But it does depend on your contract whether or not you can do this.

I bought a mi-fi (mobile wifi)from Amazon for about £30 and stuck in a Giff Gaff 4Gb data-card and it can tether 10 separate devices. I use it in the car, on non-wifi trains and wherever there is no free wifi available.
There's no contract involved.
I believe GiffGaff allow tethering on all their data bundles except their unlimited data option. As stated by RachIN76 above, if your phone is data-capable and your contract allows it, you can connect your iPad via the phone - and you can use the Bluetooth facility if enabled. Streaming video can be patchy with buffering if the signal quality is poorish. Also, streaming a video -say a normal movie - will consume about 700Mb of data so your phone allowance will be quickly consumed if used for that. Email and just browsing - no problem.

very rare you can get enough of a signal to make it worthwhile. Go into a town or try campsite wi fi if you need to connect to social media or email. For film and tv - download before you go.

What do you want it for? Streaming movies? Checking Facebook/email?

You are not going to be able to achieve wifi like you are at home. Just want to be clear about that. Streamed movies and youtube are going to be difficult.

The best bet is using the campsites wifi, many sites only have coverage in and around the reception area although you can ask for an adjacent pitch to there or you can ask about coverage over the whole of the site.

Alternatively local cafes/pubs will have wifi and usually give you the code to connect if asked.
