I was a member years ago. Even went to a uk meet a pilliton years ago.
With my ex, ex we got a caravan after camping for a few years. We split so we had to sell the caravan. Went back to canvas then I fell pregnant. Now my little one is 17 months and walking. My other two children are 15 and 12.
Went to the NEC yesterday to look at getting a new tent. An air one as thought it be quicker than my pole tent. Especially with a toddler.
Got the kampa studland polycotton one. Got that one due to the extra space. Plus the pod the seperate pod for my eldest as she likes her space lol. Also my son has autism so he gets his space too. However it looks like I will have to get large pitches as its just over 8m in length by half a metre.
My last tent was a vango. I don't know much about kampa but I preferred it to the vango rivendale. That was my 3rd choice. I did like the kampa croyde 6 but with growing kids and occasionally extra people with us. I'm a single mum so will have friends stay with us on occassions. The extra space appealed.
Anyway just introducing myself again as its been awhile.
I've miss camping so much it's been 3 years in August.
My toddler has a peppy pig ready bed for when we go camping :-)
Now I got to look for a roof box for my car.

Welcome back. Once a camper always a camper. Many moons ago my then wife would not consider camping although I had previously camped for many years. Fast forward and new wife I discovered to my delight also loved camping and we camped as a family. We moved to France and did not camp for some 20 years but both missed it a lot. Last year we bought an old MH and have spent the winter refurbishing the interior and updating lighting etc and looking forward to a few more years waking to the smell of newly mown grass, croissants and the like. We do have the advantage of already being in France so the world our oyster. So Angie, share your sentiment and wish you and yours happy camping.
P.S. Love this website a great asset for us "etrangers en France"
