Hi, We are about to go away in our nice new palamos 6 for the first time tomorrow and I seem to of lost the instructions that tell you what pole goes where according to the numbers on them...DOH
I seem to remember that the king pole is a different size so ok with that but also that each of the front sets of poles are different...
If anyone has the bit of paper with the pole numbers on or knows where i can download it from then that would be a great help - particularly if its before mid afternoon tomorrow. just telling me the pole numbers for the front and middle poles would be enough, I'm sure i can work it out from there.
must take more care of these important bits of paper...
off to pack now so may not respond immediately.
cheers
matt
I seem to remember it's:
1 to 3 is king pole
9 and 10 are the legs
Elbows are interchangeable (4?)
Two short poles in top of middle frame.
Bendy pole (with spring) in top front frame.
Email andyoak.ae at gmail.com and if I can find my copy I'll send it to you.
Great thanks for that, you just saved me from a right b*ll*cking from the missus...putting up the tent after a journey is always a recipe for rows never mind when you are using trial and error for which pole goes where.
I'll drop you an email - the diagram would be great for future reference.
Ok, found them...
1,2,3 King Post (no1 at top)
10 and 11 = Hoop Legs
4 = Middle Hoop Corners
5 and 6 = Middle Top
7 = Front Hoop Corners
8 = Front Top
Check my review for putting up; I tend to go king pole and raise then part peg. Fit corners and tops before putting in legs... Middle then front. I bang a peg part in middle at front to temporarily hold the front guys if I'm putting it up single handed.
