Hi all,
It's almost time for the motorcycle rally circuit to kick off and I've decided to treat myself to a new tent.
The main thing I want is to be able to erect it on my own without too much swearing.
Maybe a 3/4 maner.
The Coleman Instant Tourer Tent looks a possibility just for the ease of putting it up. I'd prefer the Coleman Coastline 3 Plus because of the porch.I've read this can be put up by 1 person though this seems slightly optimistic for my abilities.
I would like to keep it below £150.
Thanks,
Simon.

Any tent with in line poles will be easy to put up by one person, especially if it only has 3 poles. The difficult ones are those with poles running in all directions.

Very basically, just lay the tent down, thread the poles while still on the ground then raise the front pole and the others will follow like a pram hood. Perhaps not quite as easy as that sounds but practice makes perfect.

This video might help

We looked at the Coleman Instant to use for overnight stops but I read reviews saying people had problems with condensation due to it being single skin. So probably best to go for something with an inner for the bedroom area.

Don't be put off by not having a porch - you can attach a lightweight tarp to the front to create your own. Decathlon sell a 3m x 3m one for around £20 in dark green which comes with a pole & packs down really small.

A bit smaller than requested but look at the new Olpro Pop not released until May but available to pre-order. If you google it you'll get the stripy thing they sell but go to their website and look under tents - it comes in blue, green or orange. It's a two man, but it has two doors which is why I ordered it. (cross circulation of air, especially in the morning when a small tent heats up too quickly)

I had a Vango Halo 300 (sold recently) which I also got because of the two doors, but the third pole was a bit tricky for me to fit as it is a geodesic shape - great for adverse weather conditions but the idea of having an Olpro Pop is to keep in the car for those times when the weather is great!

I can put up both my Caucasus 3 and my force 10 mk3 easily. The Caucasus has a nice porch and I can sit up in and I'm 6 foot.
The force ten is probably the easiest out of any I've pitched.
