Soooo excited!
I am going camping at the weekend and I can't wait!
It has been a while since I stayed in a tent as I have been using my little caravan more recently.
Going to Street Head Caravan Park with 2 friends.

I do "comfy" camping (I can't do "glamping" because my kit and I are far from glamorous!)
1 friend is a real back-to-basics, tarp and hammock sort of girl!
My other friend has decided to try my version of camping and is borrowing my Vango Green Tee 500 tent, complete with carpet!
We are going to spoil ourselves and will be eating some delicious meals, including mussels, king prawns and steak all washed down with a glass or three of something nicely chilled!
Really looking forward to spending some relaxing time with these lovely ladies.
I have decided to take my new, eBay bargain tent, the Kampa Perran 4.
Can't wait to try it out and I'm hoping it goes up ok as I won't get a chance to do a practice pitch first - my efforts may well provide some onsite entertainment!
Spent a pleasant few hours in the garage yesterday sorting all my gear out and getting the car loaded ready for a quick getaway on Friday.
Hope you have a great time!
We swapped to a caravan 3 years ago and since then have accompanied my son while he choose his tent and set up and am now doing e-advice to my daughter in America. I get so excited for them both! There's nothing like camping to give the old batteries a re-charge.
------------- Started with a motorbike and tent.......my gallery, my life.
We are not going until the end of May :( although our son is out next weekend with scouts. We are going to take the opportunity to empty his bedroom and fumigate it!!!
Just back today. We had blazing sunshine, rain, hail and a night of high winds. All in all it was as good as it always is and that means good.
Have a good trip.
------------- Hypercamp Alaska
Vango Force 10 mk3
Vango F10 Helium 1
Coleman Cobra Pro 3
Coleman Cobra 2

Camping, here I come!
I get the impression that these so called "lovely ladies" are going to be no more than a bad influence! I'd steer well clear if I were you!
Enjoy... and don't forget the pics... if you can keep them in focus, that is!
We had a fabulous time. The site is beautiful and I would recommend it. The added bonus was that it was so nice to sit around the fire put in the evenings.
I'll be back in Blighty on Saturday. Suitcases emptied and put away by Sunday pm.
By Sunday evening, I suspect I'll be on here searching for trip photos.
Just sayin'! ;-)
Adios for now. :-)
