We took our illusion 800 on its maiden outing over the bank holiday weekend and it was great apart from the difficulty of zipping shut the inner door. There is no tension on the zip across the top of the door, but as it curves down its nearly impossible to close it. Once the zip is travelling in a vertical path its fine again. The zip, stitching and material look under a lot of tension. I have tried to straighten out any twists in the material around the air beam / door, which does help but the zip doesn't flow freely or easily. Will time help? I don't want to over stretch the fabric. We are going to France in a few weeks so I don't really want to send the tent away if possible.
What are your thoughts?
Did you close the inner door before pegging and guying

When we had our 6.0xt outdoor rev
We inflated the tent pegged at the 4 corners then closed all the doors including the divider door bedroom doors even the zipped curtains all the fly mesh doors really anything with a zip then fully pegged and guyed hope this rectifies the problem
Cracking tent by the way

Tent pitched. I did a bit more tweaking and adjusting the beam position which made some difference. Having a closer look at the seams it looks a little wonky and I think that's where the problem lies. Never had this problem with the 6xt, but at least the illusion doesn't leak like a sieve sorry 6xt
Try to unzip the beam and make sure its not twisted or kinked and is not folded at the bottom a friend had this on their Eden when we had our Eden

A day in the sunshine, and the zipper appears a little bit smoother. On a positive I also packed up the tent on my own and got it in the bag first time.
