I have been trying to buy a tap for my water carrier, and have found it impossible. I have a rigid type of about 15 litres it has a blue screw on cap, and I am looking for a tap/lid to replace the existing one. I think it may be a coleman carrier, but not 100%.

Any help/advice ?.

Try a hardware store. Ours is great. Just take something in and they will find something to fit.

Took a saucepan lid in to get a new screw for the handle to the glass lid. It had to fit length etc etc. Fitted it for me too.

We had a similar issue with a water hog barrel roller, popped along to Go Outdoors & found a suitable tap for £7.99 Ensure you take the container with you to ensure its correct.

That's it, just the job as long as the thread is the same ?. Funny why these aren't common items in more camp shops and websites. I thought as usual ebay would be the place to get one, but apperently not.
