Hi everyone
Just looking for advice again please. Just got a new (used tent) looks in mint condition but haven't been able to get it all out properly yet. It appears there maybe no pegs or guy lines. Could anyone tell me how many pegs I would need please and also thickness / length and how many lines we will need just incase they aren't with it. Thanks again x
Looking at a photo of the tent(just one side) I can count 4 pegs, assuming it's the same on the other side that would make 8 pegs which seems unfeasible for such a huge tent. Plus you'll need pegs for the bottom of the tent. Consult Google Images, there are loads of photos of the tent on there.
------------- Getting old isn't fun but the alternative is much worse.
Count the guyline loops & buy the appropriate number from any camping shop, Go.Outdoors etc. Guylines usually sold in packs of 3 or 4. You will need that many pegs plus the amount of pegging points there are at the bottom of the tent. I would buy rock pegs, they are as good as any for multipurpose UK use.
Thank you. Think I'm going to have to open it all up asap. I counted 4 each side I think and them assume it would be 2 at the front of each pod. ? Think I've come into this with my eyes closed no.idea what I'm doing lol x
You want a selection of pegs, bog standard thin ones will do to peg the body of the tent down, you want some good ones for the guy ropes, rock pegs, Delta pegs, something for all ground conditions. You'll probably want 40 or so for a tent that size.
