I have a Hi Gear Frontier 6 and I'm after a porch to fit cheaper then the one that goes with it. I'm looking at the universal Gelert porch which is okay with width but it's says height is 210 whist my tent height is 225! Do you know if there is any flexibility in this at all? Will it just mean a gap underneath? It's just for cooking out of the rain and and to stop the rain going into the tent when we open the door 😊
Does anyone have any experience using different porches with different tents please

Hi DonzyB. We have the Gelert Horizon 6 porch on the side of our Coleman Weathermaster L. It's the one that actually zips up so it provides an extra room on the side of the tent to store the cooking stuff and muddy boots etc. We also have the Vango canopy for the front of our Outwell Nevada which is open at the front but provides a bit of shelter for cooking and to stop the rain getting in the door.

I think as long as you get the correct porch for where you want to place it (Side or end) then there is flexibility in the height and it will be fine for cooking under.
