I just sold our Raclet Moovea Trailer tent. We did have a Outwell Bear lake 6. When we sold that and went to a Raclet we regretted straight away.

Has that happened to anyone else much once you sold something you regretted straight away?

now back to look for a simple cheap tent for weekends. Looking getting my 8 yr old son into hiking so looking at the Nemo inflatable tent. (USA)

Hi burlstar, yes I know that feeling well, I had been talking about it in a post a couple of weeks back.
It wasn't a tent I regretted selling it was my Volvo 940 estate top spec beautiful work horse. It was immaculate it makes me want to cry now thinking about it. In a moment of madness I thought we should down size our car but after doing so I knew it was the wrong decision. Next month should be getting a v70 so that might ease the pain a bit. Chin up mate we live and painfully learn.

Oh yes - there's an older thread on this subject too. Have a search and take comfort in the fact that 'you are not alone' (anyone singing?).

The Outwell sliding canopy. Bought but not used and felt guilty for purchasing, so agreed to sell and sold for half of what I paid. It still rankles - it would be useful even if only in the garden.

Oh yes, not camping gear but I've sold a couple of watches over the years (An Omega and a Breitling) really regret letting them go.

I kind of regret selling one of my cars once too. I had a little Shogun Pinin I bought as a Winter run about. Cracking little 4X4

I stupidly sold my Isuzu trooper that would go anywhere and tow anything because everybody and their uncle told me it was about to go bang. Well, six years and 80,000 miles on, it's new owner has just scrapped it because it needed a new speed sensor on the gearbox, she didn't believe me ( because her husband is a mechanic and knows better and he said it needed a new gearbox) however it's a very common fault that the speed sensors only last 100,000k before they go bonkers, and on an auto box, it's serious bonkers.

I should never ever have sold him. £105 including fitting would have sorted out his odd gear changes
