our campbed evolution - standard low argos type camp bed with mat. Thermorest z lites, thermorest sim, exped downmat, outwell posadas double, then singles, 10cm sims on top, Chinese version of thermorest ultralite cot, now back to standard low argos type camp bed with sims mainly cause they fold down and don't take up so much room in the car and are also light (need off the cold ground now). I've seen the helinox cot one which cost a fortune but there's not a cheap Chinese equivalent that I can find and then I noticed it...... the Robens outlander trouble is no reviews, has anyone seen it and what do you think? What's your camp bed evolution?
Personally I couldn't be bothered to do the building and am happy with my megamat on the floor for now. But it is a nice small pack which is always a bonus
It looks great, and I think if you were hiking it would be worth it. As you are car camping though, and already have a similar style bed in the Argos one you have I'd stick to that. I have a Kampa Slumber Plus, which is just a bigger version of your Argos one. I have an XL 10cm SIM on top. I do love it, but there is lots of muttering under my breath when I have to put it together, especially when trying to insert the legs.
