Hi All, we've just purchased the Kampa Croyde 6 Air, our first air tent - yippee! BUT, when using the pump to inflate the poles, whether it's just starting to pump up or at higher pressure, the rubber ring inside the pump comes off and we have to unscrew the pump, fiddle about to get it back on, then put it all back together. This happened eight times whilst we were trying to pump the tent up, and we were being gentle!
Anyone else having this problem? Is it a fault pump or just a rubbish design?
Sounds like a faulty pump, not had any problem with pump supplied, the only thing I did was to glue the adaptor to the end of pipe (the part that pushes into the inflation hole on the air beam) as it untwists too easily
Thanks Damo, useful to know that it sounds like it's faulty rather than bad product. Have contacted both Kampa and the retailer to try and get a replacement.
It's worth having a spare and any similar looking pump will do the job. The Sevylor brand are good quality. You might like this as well... https://youtu.be/IxC9K6e6RfU
