Hi all. Were have a Gelert Corona 6 and after a very stormy stay in Anglesey we have had to replace 3 of the poles. So we went to go outdoors and bought new poles (cut to size) but now we can't figure out what order they should go in 😠 were have googled til our eyes are crossing to no avail!   Still waiting for a reply from Gelert but not holding out much hope. Can any of you lovely people help?? At my wits end as going to another windy site next weekend and need to ensure they are in the correct order........ Failing that it may have to be a new tent! Tia 😉

Hello

Looking at it the poles are just semi circular hoops and so it shouldn't matter what order the sections are in.

Does that answer your question or am I missing something...?

Hi dmsplat

I didn't make it very clear sorry... Apparently there are three rows of poles, front, middle and rear. Each row has slightly different amounts! Thanks for your time

How many sections of pole have you got in total? I'm assuming that each bit of pole is the same length and you're replacing all three of the main poles.

Not sure how many will have to wait for hubby to come home. But yes, each bit of pole is same length. Each section needed one pole replacing so when we've taken them off the elastic they've got mixed up.

Aaah - trial and error could do it if there's only three sections (might take an hour or so, but that's fun, right? It's also cheaper than a new tent!)

If it helps, I've done some maths and estimate the pole lengths front to back to be around 612cm, 604cm and 589cm. These are just estimates, though (don't go cutting any poles to length based on this - but you could measure them and see!)

Haha each pole is 53cm. Just have to try figure out what goes where! We don't have the space to put it up and no time between work to go to the park 😞 thanks for your help dmsplat 👍

Good luck! If the pole sections are all the same length, then I reckon the front two hoops will be the same and the back pole one shorter.

I'll go away now - good luck!
