Well it wasn't a good idea to go to the Gower this weekend. Left home just after lunch today, got to the campsite, tried to pitch our tent but quite windy. After tent blowing away, rope burns, footprint flicking up so tent peg hit me in the head, we were home in time for dinner. Forecast was set to get worse and we couldn't manage as it was but we have 1 broken tent pole and another bent piece.
I have looked online but can't find any spares so does anyone know where I can get a metal replacement "bent section" I don't know the real name, section for a Vango Maritsa tent please.
Thanks, I have already looked at both of those. It isn't the leg pole or the roof pole, it is the bent bit that joins them both together. Maybe I will just have to get some strong tape.
Try go outdoors. Mine broke last week in the gales. Although they didn't actually sell the replacement pole, they found an old one in their warehouse for me. Cost me £5 for the labour to replace it

Only broke a pole once, a few yrs ago. Took it to my local camping shop when I got back. The assistant went to a cupboard full of spare poles, found one the same. How much I asked, nothing it's ok he said. I had bought the tent from there but he wasn't to know that. This was at the old Camperlands in Northenden, Manchester. Haven't been to the new one yet. Always try your local camping shop, you never know.
