I have a Kalahari Elite 8 with the carpet and have the same issue - in fact I reviewed it on the Go Outdoors website and mentioned this.
The tent has a full sewn in groundsheet which is nylon and therefore quite slippy. The carpet is really thin and has what looks to be a nylon backing with a minuscule foam centre then the top layer. It slips around like a slippy thing, rucks up and is a real trip hazard.
Whenever any wind gets under the tent and does that billowy thing it moves. If you walk across it then it moves. If you look at it in a funny way it moves. If you put it perfectly straight, zip the tent and go out for the day - when you get back it has moved!
I thought about velcro too as the easiest fix. My worry though is that when removing the carpet it could damage the groundsheet. Thinking about it, I'd guess the solution is to get the extra wide 2" velcro and put it on the groundsheet in apprx 6" lengths to give a sturdyness but on the bottom of the carpet to put just very small patches, say 1" square. That way when lifting you can get a grip on the groundsheet and pull the carpet up. If anything does get damaged it will be the carpet.
Annoyingly Go Outdoors have almost doubled the price of the carpet in the few weeks since I bought mine and I'd like a second carpet for when I only use one bedroom pod. But I think I'll try the velcro thing when I get the chance
I glued on about 16 pieces of Velcro (one inch squares) at the edge and corners of the carpet. But I have a zig rather than a sig so there should not be any stress created. Removal just involves being careful. It does mean the carpet doesn't budge and even withstands a Hoover.

Could it be linked to the material of the sewn in groundsheet? I have a few tents (mostly Vango) and find that the tent carpet moves around more in tent with a grey sewn in groundsheet, than on those with the black sewn in groundsheet.
Just come across this post and that is a very good point. My new tent has a silver groundsheet whereas all other tents I have owned had black groundsheets, so that could well be why I am finding the Vango carpet slipping.
What's all this about moving carpets?
Do folk not realise they should be weighed down by lot's and lot's of lovely expensive camping furniture!!
Camp beds. Larder cupboards. Wardrobes. Tables. Chairs. stools. Even boxes and boxes of "camping stuff"! There's a vast array of this kind of gear out there, and it is our duty to use it all as a means of staying safe, so get those carpets weighed down!
I'd say, if your tent carpet has the ability and opportunity to move about, then you are not proper campers!
There... I've said it!!
