Bought a Vango Ark 300+ last year, couldn't erect the previous tent on my own, Vango Redwood 400. Nothing wrong with the Ark, used it a few times this year on my visits to Norfolk. But after being used to being able to walk into the Redwood hmmm. Been looking at tents with more headroom that I think I can erect myself. Then last night was looking on the internet and came across a Vango Odyssey 400 at a bargain £90 brand new. Ordered it. Three pole tunnel, looks easy enough to put up. Have had a look at the reviews on here and they seem good, but thats been with two people. Wonder if anybody can give their opinion about one person erecting it. Can't see any probs myself but you never know.

Should be easy to do by yourself. Peg at each corner, open front door, put the poles through and it should be up. Just need to do all the pegging then

Enjoy your new tent

Thanks for the vote of confidence purplebean. That's what I do with the Ark, peg corners, put poles through onto pins while still flat on the ground and pull forward and peg out. Was going to try the same with the Odyssey. Just had msg the Odyssey as been despatched so can't cancel now anyway :-) Watching the weather forecast, just need a decent few days, then away.

I hope I will Duffs54. Ordered it on friday about 10.30pm, estimated delivery was monday, so I'm thinking probably tuesday. Went out this morning to an exibition, half an hour after I left home, got a msg 'tried to deliver and failed, try again monday' Sunday delivery aaargh. So tomorrow I will be stationed at the front window. It was a quick delivery, I'll give them that. How long have companies delivered on a sunday?

Sunday deliveries are unusual. Which company is it?

I hope you enjoy your new tent. 😀

Bought it through Amazon. Maybe with the popularity of buying online they have to deliver seven days a week.
