Hello All,
We have an Outwell Windbreaker Lux and we have only used it 2-3 times. Unfortunately while camping 2 years ago the cables/wire snapped in one of the aluminium poles. I purchased a V connecter spring however looking at the pole I am not sure if this will work.
The pole looks to be using a wire cord (the same way as the fiberglass ones use the bungee cord). When I disconnect the pole, I don’t see a spring mechanism and suspect the wire is secured at the ends of the pole.
Is there a way to fix these? I have asked Outwell if they do replacements but they have not got back to me yet. Plus I don't think they make the Windbreaker Lux anymore and if they did they might be expensive, so would sooner repair the pole.
Many thanks
