Been looking at tent prices on Ebay for a while and they are now going crazy. Used tents getting far more than they are worth, which is obviously good for the seller.
If you are unsure just put a reserve price and you can't lose.

Ive been wondering the same thing. I dont really want to get rid, but its not being used and I could really do with the money and not have to store all our stuff in someone elses unit
Excellent - time to list our Vango Icarus 500 (slept in just 4 nights in total) and our 12cm outwell dreamboat (2 nights use) on eBay then....I've not t actually look owed what they're going for on there, but listed by hem is now priority for this weekend!
Now is a good time to sell anything camping. The sun came out and people are starting to think about going camping again. It will be Easter weekend from April 14th to 17th and that is un-officially the start of of the new camping season and when many campsites that close for the winter re-open.
Get it on ebay asap I would. Before Easter. Put it up in your garden & take plenty of pictures. Do a well written listing stating pictures are recent & offing collection in person for cash or delivery paid by paypal. Hermes is cheapest for posting I find & delivers in 3 days. Weigh tent & work out postage cost on Hermes website.
I bought a new tent last yr for £125. Used it in France for 6wks. Put it on ebay as soon as I got back in Aug & sold it for £75 which I thought was ok.
I am really struggling to sell our tent, I have placed it on eBay 3 times for it not to sell each time. I even reduced the initial starting bid the last time
This tent is currently selling for £499 without a footprint and I have put a starting bid of £240
Just put it on again, going to stick it on preloved as well
We sold our tent this weekend. Got £135 for it, they're selling at £259 at Go Outdoors. Ours had only been used twice, so was 'as new'
Our experience on eBay is not to set a high starting bid. We always put about £5 otherwise people are put off. Worse case scenario is that you have to remove it if you don't get anywhere near what you're willing to let it go for. We've never had to do this though - also set to finish about 7.30/8pm on a Sunday.
