We are selling caravan to buy tent set up be bo storage rates then we are planning on buying kampa studland 8 air seems to be a good tent but question is we would like a small oven to be able to do say pizza in etc can we use 800watt mini oven on a 16amp pitch as dont want to be spending another 200 on a oven. also i read on here somewhere air beds need to be laid on a matt is that correct as i never knew that

Hello Andy.
           I'm not able to assist regarding the oven.

Airbeds are best set on top of a 'thermal break', such as a carpet, or foam mat.

In warm summer months, it's not going to be too bad, but in the cooler months, it could feel like sleeping on a block of ice.

My wife and I shared a double airbed, but returned it and bought 2 singles. Restless sleepers transfer motion

We got the 14lt 1380watt mini oven from Lidl, great little oven for £30 draws around 6amp on full tilt, selecting either top or bottom elements drops power down to 3amp.

Also the oven fits into a 42lt Really Usefull Box, which is handy for when in transit.

16A x 230v = 3,680w. You could run 4 of your ovens and still have 480w in hand to keep the lights on.
