Hi, I do a lot of solo camping and have a great little two-man tent that is perfect, but takes a long time to pitch and strike by myself, so it's really only worth it if I'm at a site for a few days. I'd like to do more of a tour this year and was thinking of getting a two-man pop-up tent to make life quicker and easier, but want something more robust than the little festival tents, as I've heard so many bad things about them. (not waterproof, don't stand up to winds etc.)
Does anyone have any experience with pop-up tents? Any recommendations?
Decathlon Quecha 2 seconds range are excellent and good value. They are double skinned and come in a variety of sizes and colours. Folding down takes a little practice but once mastered isn't a problem. They don't pack down small so aren't much use for hiking.
Yea i have one of these and they are ok, bit of a pain to put down at first, but after a couple fo goes you get used to it, i keep a video of how to pack away on my phone just in case, also if you want to spend a bit more they do small air tent but no idea of cost, my cheapo only cost me £20
