Hi all finally convinced my new hubby to try camping and theres no going back i have the tent arriving tomorrow we went for a vango keswick. Is there any vital equipment you couldnt camp without or woukd reccommend as its a long time since i last went and cant remember what i used to take. As a Keswick owner, practise in the garden first! Its a big tent and requires practise. We use the cross camping style method. Get the canopy pole in first, let the air take it up, having pegged the 6 corners, the air inside makes it much easier. Then just add the poles.
