George-Mildred - The towels are alright but not like a "normal" towel. As I said, the microfibre/cotton mix do seem to be better as they are softer and they do dry quicker than an ordinary towel. I've even converted OH to use them and he likes them but not the full microfibre.
I discovered the doggie wipes last year and have some in the dog box. They are good but they always seem to be somewhere else when you want them!! (Our dog likes to roll in "whatever" so they do prove useful - Last year he rolled in a dead seal in Norfolk - the stench was awful and had to hosepipe him down at the campsite - he didn't like being hosed and we couldn't live with the smell!!!!!!!!)
