Hello,
Every year we travel (2 separate cars) down through Europe to camp with.my disabled daughter and grandson. She picks the site and stays with Eurocamp. We pack our tent, book a pitch and do the "entertaining". I like to camp in comfort!
This year a friend has lent us a canvas covered trailer (even more comfort).
We plan to stay 2 nights in Dijon but are put off camping at the campsite there by the bad reviews. My daughter is already booked into a little b&b near lac kir but the only hotel nearby is the ibis. Do you think the trailer would be safe in a hotel parking or would it be foolish. What do others do?
Hope to get a few suggestions
Thank you in advance
Been doing this for years without a problem.
Most of the Chain Hotels have a security fence around them and some even close their gate at dusk.
Around twice the cost of a camping pitch, but bear in mind clean sheets and your own toilet!
Go for it.
We use Ibis Hotels whilst travelling down south. we have a folding camper and it is ideal. there is an Ibis just off the motorway at Beaune which we have used on two ocassions, this May we are staying at the Ibis at Macon.
