I just know that with the good weather all the sites will be chock full and likely the "fair weather" campers will be out in force, you know, the ones who have zero camping etiquette and have no intention of ever learning any along with the rest of their tribe.
All the above with a high probability of being situated within 2ft of someone elses tent, despite there being adequate space elsewhere but they have decided they like our smell or something so will do anything to get as close as possible.
Maybe just me being a grumpy old git but I will likely stay away, enjoy the sunshine at home and go next weekend instead.
Apparently the Easter weekend was a washout and many campsites were half empty or just couldn't take any campers due to boggy fields. I anticipate this weekend will make up for that and campsites will be booked pretty solid...am I glad I am now retired and can camp midweek
Just booked Merthyr Farm Harlech 4 nights.
One of the best views in Wales. They are only taking a limited number of bookings for this weekend.
So should be quiet.

Merthyr is my favourite campsite in the whole of the country.
It does look like the Gwynedd area is the coolest though over the weekend else I would be there. Am tempted though, been there in much worse conditions... on more than one occassion, all in "summer" :D

Had to laugh. We are next to two families of the breed. Footballs bouncing off tent and bikes finding out pedals don't mix well with guy lines.
Not sure what to say to such luvvies as the parents shoo the kids away from their pitch with "not round our tent with those!"
Hope some have enjoyed the great weather though....if you dared the sunny bank holiday camping 😚
Not just me then! I to would have like to be away camping this weekend, just put off with all the oiks that do not care about anyone else on the sites, Just want to camp in peace, went to site in Bedgellert a few years ago, no radios allowed they say but quite happy to allow kids to scream their heads off from a tent not to far away from me. Maybe I'm a grump 'ol get too!
I once had kids using my tent to hide behind while they spoke with their mates using a walkie talkie set. I say 'spoke' but I am sure they were shouting loud enough to dispense with the walkie talkies and still be heard!
On another occasion I made the mistake of choosing a pitch too close to a concrete slope outside a loo block and was awoken to the sounds of skateboards at silly o'clock in the morning!
We had to book last minute as I got the bank holiday weekends mixed up (planned for last bank holiday and SWMBO wanted this one so I lost).
We turned up and were allocated a lovely flat pitch right next to the entrance of the on-site play park.
Fair enough we thought while listening to the screams from said park which to be fair had 8-10ft bushes all the way around to help with sound deadening. It wasn't until the footballs and the running and screaming moved to the back of our tent that we started to get rattled. Acres of land to use and even a whole field next door yet they choose the 6 square feet of space between our tent and the bushes to ride bikes, play football and have nerf wars etc.
In our case it was the sited caravan kids as well as the weekend campers though.
