Congratulations on your new tarp - please share some pics when you've set it up.
My daughter and I had a fun afternoon trying out some of these ideas in the garden a while ago - quite useful practice. We could tell which ones were any good because the cat would come and sit under them.

Thank you for the link! There are some interesting configurations there I'd like to try. I think the tarp size I've ordered should be quite versatile and I ordered some Clingons which should allow me more options as to how to set the tarp up.
I'll share some photo's soon.

Just be careful with the Clingons and possibly add a bit of fabric folded over both sides of the tarp where you position them, to offer some protection; if you use Clingons on an un-strengthened piece of tarp, it might end up splitting the canvas.
I think Tatonka tarps have loads of guying points anyway, so you may not need to use the Clingons.

Good tip re the clingons, I have some spare canvas so will cut a few squares just in case.
Well the tatonka tarp arrived today and I'm very pleased as it seems really nice quality. Despite my slight reservations before I ordered that it might be too large, it looks just right when I laid it out on the lawn just now.
I'm trying to decide how long to cut the guylines, allowing for adjustment, considering my poles go up to 2.2m... same debate with the ridgeline. If anyone has and advice that would be great. thanks
