Do all seam sealing products need to be applied to the inside of the tent?

In my case it's for a motorcycle cover.

Yeh it`s gonna be a bit finicky I did mine and I turned it inside out,put it on my bike then did it that way.Buy a decent one though it`ll pay off in the long run-also use Fabsil on the other side to waterproof it.

Thanks for the reply Campy C wish i'd looked into this when the weather was warmer i done the outside in the summer with Fabsil, just in the heavy rain rain gets through the seams sometimes, you say "decent" brand i have only seen "McNett Seam Grip" mentioned here, is this the best to get or another brand i should look at?
