I let son borrow my tent and he misplaced a whole tent pole. I have ordered a new set of the right diameter but don’t know what to do now. The replacement kit has come and I have cut one pole to size so that’s not an issue. The kit comes with the poles with a ferrule metal bit at each end but my last section needs another metal bit on the end as far as I can see. There is one spare pole so maybe somehow I can get the metal bit off there if anyone knows how.? And the kit comes with 2 little metal bits that look like tiny funnels but I have no idea what these are for. I have looked on you tube but can’t find how to replace a whole length . Could anyone help

Please give us an idea of what tent or type of tent it is and what kind of poles. I'm hoping that this information may help me have some idea of what you are talking about and enable me (& others) to answer you.

Thanks for the response.sorry I was so vague. It was a cheap Halfords tent with 2 rooms and fibreglass poles but after much head scratching think I have done it now but thanks anyway

Find someone who has put their tent in a washing machine so it is no longer waterproof and make them an offer for their poles.
