Assuming they have duvets at home, sleeping bags for camping are a must. That's what camping is all about... in a tee shirt, in a sleeping bag, in a tent!

Getting your tent warm is great but be carefull about condensation.. mould on your tent is a bugger to get off

We've always used a heater in our tents, including overnight if necessary and never had an issue with condensation or indeed mould.

Surely a heater would prevent condensation? Doesn't that happen on cold surfaces?

As long as you're not closing all the vents to 'keep the heat in' and keeping all the moisture in at the same time...

Surely the best way to keep warm is drink a pint of hot scrumpy and ginger and snuggle up with the one you love.
