Does anyone line their inner tents with a tent carpet ?
In the pass we have just put some large insulated picnic blankets under the airbeds, (not sure if it makes any difference) but got me thinking about is it worth putting a carpet in the inner tents ?
I'm not aware of any manufacturers making them specifically for the bedroom though, for whatever reason?
We got two cheapo's (Usual branded "living area" tent carpet, in a clearance sale). One was just a few inches too big for our 4 berth, and the two together went in our 6 berth... with a very large overlap in the middle (about a third of the bedroom therefore had a double thickness carpet! LOL!)
Just find the nearest size, and fold the edges under if need be.

Yep, we got a couple of EOL Outwell carpets back in 2008, one for on top of the ZiG in the living area, and the other for on top of the SiG in the bedroom pod.
I took the carpets to a stall on our local market that does clothing alterations, and a week later I had two bespoke tent carpets c/w with cut outs for toggles etc.
Cost me £20 in total to have the work done.
Money well spent, as now over ten years later, the ZiG and the SiG are still like new, although the carpets are starting to show there age a little.
Picnic blankets throughout for me too. Any overlap is just providing a bit of extra insulation. Plus, I have a "runner" up the middle of the tent from the door so I don't have to worry about taking muddy boots off outside in the rain!
Got outwell triple carpets in both living area and inner tent. Just makes it a bit warmer and much nicer under foot. Mates do laugh at us for glamping but we like our little luxury at our age
I've used the foam clip together 'jigsaw puzzle' type floor tiles in my tent bedrooms. Good insulation and comfort underfoot. They are cheap, light to carry and pack up reasonably small.
